Justin Erickson, DDS

Dr. Erickson is an avid outdoorsman and a skilled dentist who is proud to serve the residents of interior Alaska. Dr. Erickson’s strong appreciation for the outdoors stems from his upbringing in the rural logging town of Eatonville, Washington, where he grew up hunting and fishing with his mom, dad, and twin sister in the foothills of Mt. Rainier and the majestic Cascade mountains. He played college football for the University of Puget Sound while earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology. In 2012, he began his doctoral studies at the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry where he met his future wife, Dr. Daesha Erickson. After graduating from dental school in 2016, Dr. Daesha and Dr. Erickson moved to Alaska to begin their careers in private practice. They married in the summer of 2017.

Dr. Erickson has a passion for dentistry, which is apparent in his patient interactions. First and foremost, Dr. Erickson enjoys the social aspect of dentistry and strives to establish a personal relationship with each patient he treats. He excels in multiple fields of dentistry—from cosmetics and restorative care to implants, root canal therapy, and bone grafting. He is constantly furthering his education by attending dental lectures and courses that enhance and expand his broad clinical repertoire. Dr. Erickson’s patient-centered approach focuses on treating as many patients as possible with his comprehensive clinical skill set, which helps patients avoid inconvenient outside referrals.

Dr. Daesha and Dr. Erickson live just outside of North Pole, AK where they thoroughly enjoy all the adventures this beautiful state has to offer. From hiking and camping to fishing and hunting, the doctors are constantly making the most of this amazing state in which they live. They have two wonderful boys, Cooper 4 years old and Brekken 1.5 years old, who also love joining them on many of their adventures from summer camping and fishing to winter snow machining and ice fishing!
